I've been doing loads of research and what I've found is putting me off. The main issues are:-
Would any of these apply and mean a fail or worse interest from the cops?
Paul
- Change in Euro law on MOTs
CE marks
Self leveling
Headlight Washers
Would any of these apply and mean a fail or worse interest from the cops?

It's never caused me any problems, in fact my car passed it's ESVA test with them fitted when it was imported in to this country!
I have never failed an MOT or been stopped by the law.
I have just had my classic STI wagon MOT'd by a main dealer with aftermarket HID's and my car passed with no advisories and there was no mention of the HID's at all

Headlamp washers may work in conjunction with the windscreen washers (when the dipped beam headlamps are switched on) or by a separate switch.

The rules change in jan 2012 on hids.
AFAIK If you have headlight washers and/or headlight adjusters already fitted then they must work. If you have neither of them you don't need to worry.
