Yes, it's true. It wasn't insured but she had not handed over the keys for a test drive.
Quite how it was stolen, I have no idea, so Ant is correct, really.

On the face of it it seems stupid to hand over the keys, Having said that she could have felt or even been intimidated into it. Re insurance IMHO you always keep the insurance up or keep it immobilised and off the road until after a car is sold.

Not sure if her insurance would have covered her given she effectively handed over the keys, i suppose it is down to the circumstances.

 

Love or loathe her she always seemed to be at the centre of a disproportionate number of absurd or tragic dramas. Morbidly amusing to see the cycle persist, in a laugh or cry kind of way.

Guy i talk with now and then(he's into vag cars) was telling me couple weeks ago more of these fabia and octavia vrs are being stolen,keys being taken.

 

That's what happened. She was really upset when I spoke to her.

I like Sara, aye she's a bit ditzy and dramatic, but she's canny, and doesn't deserve to have her car stolen.

She's also rather flexible, but, those photo's will never make it onto Photobucket.

 

Very sorry to know that. Sara is such a tragedy queen. Hope the d!cks get caught, then get pushed into a narrow pothole, get stuck prim n' proper to die in there a slow and painful death!
