although ive only been on a handfull of scooby meets and so far only met a few members, for me theres no better buzz than being part of a giant convoy! it makes me feel like a teenager again, reminds me of when i had my old vw camper and making the trek with literaly hundreds of other like minded people to places, it makes you feel part of something special, almost like we know something you average car drivers dont!
so far 26 from essex but how many including sussex and middlesex and any other clubs?
i cant wait! especially the dartford tolls, i can just imagine 20 odd scoobs all lined up at the booths! "AND THEYRE UNDER STARTERS ORDERS!"

it is a great feeling when we are all cruising down there and people are just staying at the amount of scoobs in convoy

not sure how many from sussex yet havent spoke to steve for a while but at the moment theres about 9 ( maybe more) from MSOC meeting at pease pottage so off the top of my head could be almost 40 by the time we leave pease pottage which will be a great turn out

dartford tunnel on the way back will be good too

Went to the Mini Brighton run on Sunday (sons G/F has a Cooper) - now that was a car meet!
Went to Crystal Palace at silly O'clock for the official start of the cruise but some went straight to Brighton. Official figure was around 2000 cars including many from France, Holland, Belgium, Germany etc. although there were obviously a lot more without passes, parked close to Madeira drive. The waves we got from people as we went was just amazing. Say what you will, but the Mini is iconic!
It was a really nostalgic experience as the last time I was in Madeira Drive was competing in the Brighton Speed Trials back in the late '60's and winning the 1000cc saloon class two years running in, yep - a Mini!
