Educate me on this snow foam malarkey.

You just soak the car, leave for a bit them rinse off?
No rubbing?

No, you still wash the car, but after you've snow foamed/rinsed it off.
it removes all the cak, leaving you a car thats easier to wash by hand after.

SNOW FOAM IS NOT A 'ONE STOP TOUCHLESS' CAR WASH PRODUCT

If the car is heavily soiled i will but tend not to use it in wet weather, i wait with my daily runner till it's fairly dirty before washing it and snow foam that each time.

Just don't let it dry in the hot sun on your paintwork. I had Megs Hyperwash, made it strong to get loads of foam and I didn't wash it off quick enough and it ate into the paint on my scoop.

I bought my Brabus RC for £14k sold it 6 months later for £10k!
Should have held on to it but it got to the point where I'd lost all faith in it and just waiting for the next thing to go wrong. Ironically, I think they are still for sale at the same price I sold mine for 4 years ago!
Garden looks sweet! good work. What's that in the foreground? more water? have you put a moat round your house?

right I know what I've been doing wrong!!!

I need 2" of Sf in the lance... I'd only got 1" (I measured it lol)
I also need to keep my Jet wash trigger held on so it gets the full pressure of the Jet wash.. I'd only been 'blasting' it in bursts... not holding it on the full power.

these pix are a lot better with snow.. i even had time to go in, get my camera and take pix, without it running off as soon as I'd sf'd the car!!

Will post pics up later, after finding this thread i duly went off and bought the one from autobrite, i am gonna get some megs hyper wash and have only used the super snow foam that came with the autobrite lance, i have foam washed the car twice with the lance now and saw no difference at all, the dirt was still there after leaving the foam for 15 mins, maybe i am doing something wrong? i dont regret it though as its uber fun, my 3 yr old loves washing the car with itand the neighbours are pretty envious

You need the Magifoam, the Super isnt great at all,
Im doing zero touch washes this time of year on all cars,
I had to attack the arches on the hack with some APC, the wheels are the same zero touch as I use the Autobrite Very Cherry none acid wheel cleaner, you can see it working, once rinsed down they just need drying.

The fact you have to aggitate it means you are increasing the chances of scratches, thats why zero touch is better imho, same with washing the car, anything that limits the amount that you have to touch your car is better.

stone chips, dead flys and other stuff in the air when you drive don't scratch your car?

If u drove a £1m Veron I'd see you point but TBO I think you need to get out more if your so bothered about scratches from washing your car

why will you scratch your car if you've already pre washed all the main muck off it with snowFoam, then using clean water and a sponge/mit etc etc and jet wash it at the end, the you polish it again?

Bless, you try to help and its thrown back in your face,
the fact you got a snow foam lance gave the impression you cared for your cars paint work, after they last round of laughs you obviously dont and are just playing at it,
I shall get my coat and leave you in your own little world of contradiction.
