I will do matey, im ordering the bumper tomorrow and going to pick up a complete bonnet and front grill sometime time this week.
Then going to order my lights later this week too.

REALLY??? I don't get the mag so I don't know. If you could confirm that i'd be grateful mate. Where could i get the mag from or is it subscription only.

 

Could ask at a shop or I think the guy is on here who does it. It's a small pic page 29 top rite

finally managed to order some arches the other week and they turned up today, on yours have you put rubber seals on the top part or is it just my eyes ?

That correct mate. I have put them around the top of the arch.

Just to try and add a more traditional look to them.

Funny you should say that, I was going buy some new wheels the day I bumped it. Hate the wheels that are on her, they really annoy me.

On the plus side I have everything for rebuilding the front end now so, pictures will be up soon. Will probably start on her tomorrow.

Not yet mate, I haven't had time to go into town. But I will tomorrow.

Right then guys just a little update.

Work started last night, managed to get the bonnet, vents, front grill and the front bumper flatted and they are now ready to be primered. The car itself is still at my house and will be going to the garage this weekend or next, and will be striped and put back together the same day. (I hope but may have to wait for my headlights)

Yesterday day I was at work until 5.30 went straight the garage until 11.00. I will be doing that again tonight.

I will post some photos up later once I get back from the garage.

 

 

Just a little update for you guys/gals

Last two nights I have been busy flatting and preparing the new bits for my car. I wont go into detail as I am tired and not long got in.

Here she is after my little bump...

And some prep didn't take many as I was busy working on it...





That is it for now, I will be back at the garage friday. going take the spoiler off and repair a small crack. I will keep you guys posted on the progress.

 

Oh sorry I for got to mention that the scoop and smaller vents have been prepped too, I just forgot to take a photo.

Thanks mate, spoiler is coming of tonight so I can start the work on that. Then I think friday night I am flatting the roof and boot lid.

I still haven't been able get a total impreza mag. Could I be a pain and ask if you could take a photo of my car in there mate?

I took the spoiler off last night so I will be rubbing that down, repairing and then primering it.

 

Ok just a little update for you. Taken the spoiler off for its rub down and repair, I actually quite like it with no spoiler but it will go back on as I prefer it with one.




Prep time. Here its been rubbed down...



Filling in the crack...




Just got to rub the down and shape it right then everything is ready for painting.

Well painting starts this week, just in time for the bid strip and rebuild on Saturday.

Should be a good day.

 

Well certainly putting the hours in, last night I finished work at 5.30 went straight to the garage and left there at 12.00. Painting began last night between helping to fit new brakes to an old golf and fixing the head lights on a corsa.

Anyway back to the main car ha ha, She will be going to the garage tonight where I will be stripping her and beginning to rebuild. I will be picture happy (maybe) so you'l see the progress.
