Mine seemed to have metal bits between the flaps resulting in the pits, but to b honest they don't seem that bad now as I have left them out, let's c how they r in the morning

Mine had the same thing, I think it was caused by sawdust(?) as I had loads of specs of it in the bag.

Once they're installed you can't notice them anyway. They did however cause small air bubbles when putting on the stickers.

Then again my mudflaps are blue and not black.

To clarify - we've had a few (and I mean a few) sets in the past that had the small pitting marks, and the black sets show it more. Seems to disappear once they've been on the car for a few days anyway.

Sold thousands of sets now and only ever had less than a handful returned for exchange.

Its not a problem with every black set.

I mentioned the boiling water trick as we'd found that works well at completely removing any pitting.

Drop them back and more than happy to swap them out for you or refund.

That's what I call great customer service

Not sending mine back though, I've put the stickers on and everything now and can't wait to get them on the car! Pitting? Pfffff

The left one is a little bent at the moment, I'll straighten it up later. I used the supplied screws for the left one but I used a combination of screws and cable ties on the right one.

Cable ties make the job a lot easier.

Cheers neil, will try the boiling water thing but they seem to be improving in the sun.
Might try them in the conservatory as it gets bloody warm in there.

Biggi!!! Now I'm wondering if I should have gone black too dammit!

Looks spot on against the blue, clean looking motor too. What exhaust is that on it mate? Is it Prodrive and is it a 3" rolled tip?
