I will be there early has I'm running but the others are meeting on a64 and there meeting a couple of members at gate

It,s sunny but windy in York, At the moment.

 

torrential rain at my home at the moment, and im only and 1.5 hours away from York ;(

 

Just on our way back from sso it was blowing a gail , some nice cars and good runs but no trade stands and only one burger van.

Weather let it down again maybe needs moving to end of June to guarentee a better forcast for a good day out.

Was looking around for you Rob shame you couldn't go but to be truthful you didn't miss much no half a turn out as previous shame.

 

Im at my Mum,s house at Wheldrake, 2 miles from Elvington, And its Sunny at this moment.

Sorry mate, I was on an all day wedding yesterday, and as such sambuca's started flowing at midnight, so a thick head and after taste of alcohol put me off even attempting to "risk" the drive over this morning. Sounds like I didnt miss much though

Any good times set?

 

I was their and no idea who was winning what were the times etc
No way of spectators getting to no
Apart from that brill

 

There is sometimes an A4 sheet of paper which gets changed every now and then with the results on.

 

No tanoy on the sprint section so had to guage who was quick and who was slow !

Also the time boards were out of action so no visuals either !

 

Was a bloody cold wind chill but the cars did well into a strong head wind. The burger van was a joke as I'm sure others can testify.

Hope the car that everyone seemed to have come to see doesn't cost too much to fix!

 

Who's broke?

 

Andy.F. broke his car 2nd time out I think, got a 9 second run I think.
T'nana got into the low 9's and won the drag competition... beating the Dutch car.
SteveBT got a bye, Bigarf had clutch issues at the end of the day.

P.S. Bigarf was 0.5 seconds slower into a gale than we was at York dragway a few weeks ago.

No timing or commentary for the handling circuit, they should take a trip to Harewood to see it done properly... as for the burger van, be grateful ! They could have stayed at home...

Yes Frank was into the nine's, Andy.F. & Lisa took a hammer to it, but no luck...
