Glad everyone had a great time - shame they changed the track for the final - but we'll know for next time!!

Well done Budgie for taking the title for the MSOC for now....

When do you want the rematch - happy to organise, just let me know when!!

Fantastic night, great banter, some fab moments, thanks for coming!!

Oh & despite all the warnings for Kev NOT to overdo the food before he raced, he decided to go for one of these....................

but it wasn't too long before he regretted it!!

He was GREENER than the grass he races on!!

Til next time!!

FPMSL @ Kev's Kermit impression.

Mind you I would have made the same error, part of the reason why I didn't come to the pub first.

Firstly WOW what an evening. Credit to the venue and staff ( especially Nick what a showman ) for providing us with a cracking nights entertainment. I will be e`mailing them this week to thank them all

Well done Budgie quick as always mate.

A full 1-40 results list should be heading my way via e`mail this week. I was too busy lapping up the atmosphere to worry about taking notes about who finished where. And for that I apologise. So watch this space for the full official results soon.

PTR Racing F1 sims is a relatively new venture and reading between the lines since I booked the event and then increased the numbers from 30-40 I`ve have had the impression that they hav`nt had that many groups as large as ours.
The Final when announced to us finalists that they were going to change the track sounded like a fun quirky finish for us. In hindsight without any kind of practise on the unknown it turned the race into a bit of a crashfest.
So I will be requesting next time the final is run on the same track as the previous racing. And on that note I understand they are going to allow us as a large group to choose any real track we want to race on next time.
So suggestions and votes below please. Brands Hatch GP circuit was mentioned by quite a few and would make an excellent choice as most of us have been there even if only to watch many times and know the Indy track layout very well and with the GP bit added in should make a good challenge for us. Also a new track will equal up the odds as a few of us have raced the aviano ( or whatever they call it ) a couple of times now.

Sorry for prattling on but to summarize what was an excellent nights entertainment with a bit of fine tuning in place next time will truly make it an awesome event.
Please add track suggestions and votes below.

Well said Simon and I totally agree
I think Nick thought he was doing us a favour by changing the track
He also was trying to showcase the capabilities of the venue
The final race at singapore in those cars was mental
I am a bit bruised this morning
I feel the only solution to the issue is to use a different track for the whole
evening but make it a track that nobody can practice in advance
All that said, you know me, I will be there eitherway

I'm in agreement with Tweety on this one (and I'm one of the people that could practice the hell out of any real world track!)

I think Silverstone would be a good choice, as it is best suited to F1 and not for track days in road cars IMO .

Immediatly after posting my vote ( more hindsight LOL ) I realised it would advantage the gamers as they could practise any real track to death.
so on that note I`m changing my vote.

Personally, I would like a 'real' course.

As to a certain degree, I feel that the Sims aren't that 'real', and would like the chance to see/feel a 'real' track on a sim ......

Maybe they could replicate Lakeside Karting track for us

a real track is good bu i like the idea of a made up track , what if we could make up a track that would be cool .

the track change at the end was odd i agree and i think they should have put the G setting to full throughout the evening and not just the end . really make people sick pussays

thanks to all the organisers for setting up the event and letting us kick your asses again :

It`s looking like the general opinion is let them decide that way nobody knows what`s coming virtual track or not.

Do you reckon we'd get 40 people again Si ? same format for 30 might make the 5 and a bit hours a little less of an endurance?
