I know Dean, it looks like due to lack of interest I will pull the plug on the run in July/August.

I suppose it boils down to the same thing as usual Dean - apathy.

There are members on here who moan that nothing gets organised but won't organise anything themselves, and yet when something is organised they won't participate in it.

It makes me think that if they can't be bothered to attend, then why should I go to the trouble of organising things?

I think this thread needed a bump, it looks like things have taken a real nose dive in the Welsh section.

Wasn't a member then, but I am now

Anything happening locally like a day out down llandow or Combe for the racing?

I'd be up for something if anybody else is game, that's if anything is on

I've got some ideas for discussion, I was hoping that others would start the putting themselves forward, but as has happened many times before some talk the talk but won't walk the walk.

Apathy is the new driving force.

I accept that Ian but in times past far more has been 'on the go' and in the pipeline.

Admittedly we can say 2014 is finished bar the xmas meet and Dec 28th run and the events and trips we've endured has been great.

Most members wont come out of hibernation until at least Feb or March due to xmas, family or work events which I certainly come under these circumstances.

Generally we all know the events that take place every year as below which the hardcore group of regular members attend are :

Performance day ( April )
Japfest ( May )
Forge day ( September )
Rallyday ( September )

We do have afew other little things going on for the summer next year but no point trying to get people to confirm these at the moment as its a waste of the organisers time as we all know, numbers change and peeps just dont show.

Though for those who want to know what these are :

Santa Pod weekender ( August )
Nurburgring weekender ( August / September )
Beaulieu car show
Goodwood FOS
Goodwood revival
1 or 2 British touring car events to Silverstone & Donington

Now all these can be discussed over the next few months but i'll be honest, i'm not going to organise all these.

I was thinking of organising a trip to the ring next year Matt, we now have a date for Alisa's op things are a bit more clear of when we can go.
I really don't mind organising this one or even helping out but I am going to try and get over more than once though. If anyone is not keen taking their car around it's still a great weekend spectating along with having a good look around the local area.

I'm possibly looking at June or July, May maybe pushing it a little with Alisa's recovery but time will tell, I know that Guppy's going and I've asked him to let me know. I'm fine with what you've picked as well for the SWS trip over so I'll go with that. If anyone would like to come along on the first visit over then they're more than welcome to come along.
