Pity it was too dark to get his reg.
We've had similar in the Glasgow area where a Merc with blues would stop cars although they were mostly female and then the male 'officers' would pat down the female drivers, note their details and off they go.
The drivers wouldn't immediately think 'a male can't search a female'. Too worried about getting pulled.
Our unmarked cars are normal Focus's which have nothing at all.
Proper unmarked cars would also have a two tone siren as well as lights.

For example in West Yorkshire most cars are Vetras/BMW 330D


There's little chance of them stopping many Subarus
