Currently 100% standard with a good road car geometry setup, but it's all a bit tired now at 52K miles, so i'm looking to install some new dampers in the near future.

Standard?! How would you compare it with aftermarket, say coilovers etc? Sorry for going off topic but clearly the standard set up seems to be fine.

For road use the stock JDM setup is spot on, it's a bit on the soft side for sprinting, but still pretty capable.

Coilovers is too loose a term, there are good and bad coilover setups and you have to spec them for your use.

I'm currently looking into a few coilover options, if i go down that route then they will have to have plenty of wheel travel so they work well on the road, be inverted strut so they dont wear out quickly and maintain the wheel geometries properly, and be complient enough to give good traction on the road, yet capable of being tightened up for the ocasional sprint or trip to the 'ring.

Most coilovers dont match those requirements, so for a road car i'd much rather run stock dampers if i find i cant get what i want in a budget i can afford.

You're quite correct John as have a few the others listed.
My engine's demise was a set back as it wasnt a result of too much power or a build issue. It was a genuine mistake by an engineering company I used and they have paid for the replacement parts.

I'm in the process of rebuilding it. When finished I hope to move a few places up the list. I'm not aiming for numbers but it would be nice for the car to reach its potential. Time wil tell.

If it's done a 10sec quarter first time out and you work long hours in the city where car's not needed then you can afford to....in my case!

No need to run on V Power - did 11.1 on slipping clutch at 1.7 bar of boost and no LC and that will do me.

lol!!

The most important thing is that whatever you do, you give it your best shot. Neither Paul Blamire or Sleepersy (and others) expected me to pull off the times I did last year with and without V Power on a full weight car, but I kept my mouth shut, went out and did it. 11.0 sec run with a passenger in the car on a full weight new age (bar spare wheel and jack) with road tyres and slipping clutch is not very common.

btw, its ALLrounder not Alrounder! .....

Jag, you try typing on a little Acer netbook and see if you get all the words right, the keyboards are a fecking nightmare.

Mine is also a fully trimmed car, Like I said run higest boost setting on vpower and mine and your graphs are virtually identical.
