The lead time for our gauges B0DSKI is around 3 weeks, and Dave was a gent and ordered them about 4/5 days before we all paid, so I'd say roughly round 2 weeks...sorry mate, im in the same boat...itching to get them now..

Me nither, sandwich plates are the easiest, but don't give the truest readings, or so i've heard.
Dave, if DSA Dave is gonna install your pod for you, he'll put the oil temp in the sump. The presure sensor will go behind the alternator (i think)...DSA dave dosnt like the sandwich plates, but if you insist he will.
Also, what pod you go for? I'm well chuffed, i found an ATI one, with all clips on ebay for 40 squid, lol. He listed it as a boost pod...

Well I thought I'd have a go at fitting it myself which I why I opted for the sandwich plate, it will obviously end in tears and DSA will have to come and recover the car . I've also read about the accuracy of the oil temp gauge reading from filter but faced with the possibility of ruining the threads on the block i figure i can live with that, i mean how much out can it be? a few degrees? Seems the pressure reading from there will be fine.

I've gone for a center pod from scoobyworld, its low profile which is what i'm after, i've seen mixed reviews on the quality of it tho, but i'm hoping i'm lucky with it as I really like its design, otherwise it will get binned after 6 months and an ATI one ordered, you done well getting one for that price
If I post no fotos afterwards then its probably fair to say it all went pete tong..

V. Lucky, gotta work out how to wire it in now. Unboxed to have quick look and the quality looks good, seem like decent cables supplied and parts seem like they should last.

Will sort out some pics once I get it fitted and wired.

These gauges are generic with a badge on the face. Check ebay for Stepper Boost gauges. Half the price and the same thing

I think that it's too hard to draw that conclusion, all gauges look like Defi's after all. Just looking at the visuals which is all we can do, the eBay ones state swiss, whereas the depo ones state japan.

They may state Japan, but:

"Depo Racing was founded in 2004 by a gauge enthusiastic family in Taiwan. We are the leading manufacturer and supplier, focusing on tuning performance. Our factory is base in the north of Taiwan as most of our network suppliers are also located in this area. We recently carry various products in line, including both analog and digital series. In general, we release at least a complete new series every year depending on different market desire and trend. New products enable customers to have strong product range and the power to stand in the leading position of the market. "

And the ones that say Swiss, actually are just referring to a smooth, swiss style movement inside to prevent needle flutter

I've been speaking to a rep from Depo in Taiwan this morning via email (alibaba.com trade site).
I was, in all honesty, trying to blag a free sample, or at very least, a low cost one, but their minimum order quantity was for $5000 USD. Haven't got a price list yet so don't know how many gauges this would buy! Anyway, working on those figures it would take approx 100 people buying 1 gauge each at £50 lol

Sorry, been bored today haha

Hey guys and girls,well, guys...
Thought an update was in order...been talking to Dave, he's expecting to have the order in his hands around the 10th Dec.
Also, anyone wanting a sensor adaptor, one that will T the original oil pressure sensor spot behind the alternator. To allow the original sensor for the dash light, as well as the oil sensor for the gauge...

This is £15 and he can package it up with the gauges.

Thanks Bob, I would like the electronic stepper gauges with the peak/light function. Are the little buttons on the sides neccessary or can they be removed (fitting them into a tripple gauge pod)

Regards,

James

Recived mine today, look really good...serioulsy impressed
The buttons are removable, and it seems to work without it, if you just use it too set it up..Mine are going in a ATI triple gauge pod, and with alittle squeezing, the buttons will fit too...

P1#1015 i'll ask Dave, see what price he can give you and things...
