The one where you have to find the gigilo, zombie prostitute and sex bot. All was going well until I got the bloke to make a holotape, then the dialouge for collecting the holotape dissapeared.

 

Unfortunately not and me nearest save puts me back over an hour.

Have you looked on places like Fallout wikia or gamefaqs to see if anyone else has had similar problems.

Although this doesn't help you in this situation I don't use the saves (limited to 100 I believe) but just go into a building ,preferably near the objectives,as that saves the game.

 

Done that mission and had no problems but encountered a bug on Nellis Air Force base when leavng/entering the hangars it took a long time to load and when the middle button was pressed on the controller the 360 console took it's time to appear.

Vault 34 is the nastiest mission I've encountered,constant radiation and more Feral Ghouls than you can shake a stick at.

 

I signed up to the official forum which has most of the bugs and glitches listed. I currently have 59/100 saves used as there is a missing dlc gltich which corrupts all your autosaves, I have backed some up to a pen drive as well to be safe. There are a lot of people over there who have put 40 hiurs + into the game only to lose it all so I would rather be safe than sorry.

Did you try out the sexbot? I thought it was a woman but it turned me around and rogered me up the wrongun by the sounds of it

Didn't fancy trying the sexbot tbh i beleive it does say bend over but was amused by who actually did want one.

Airbase is easy to find but hard to get to because of their defences also best not to take any companions with you.

 

Had a monster 7 hour Fallout 3 session today and finished the game

As always seams to be the case with this game, i never play it for ages and then get sucked into a heavy session, strange.

According to my Xfire profile, im sitting on 40 hours played so far.

Anyway, i loved the ending part with that big robot stomping about all over the shop, class!

So now i appear to be in the "Broken Steel" DLC, does anybody know how long this DLC lasts?

I have previously completed Operation Anchorage and Mothership Zeta.

So that should just leave The Pitt and Point Lookout, IIRC The Pitt was supposed to be quite good, does anybody know how long these DLC packs run for? i might be picking up Fallout Vegas sooner than i thought although i would rather try and wait for a GOTY edition.

Think most of the DLCs were about 4 or 5 hours but once again you had a main mission and a few side missions.

 

played my first few hours today im still in primm getting through the casino

 

Just bought myself a 2nd hand Fallout 3 last night... had a mess on with it last night to get used to everything, will start it again for real tonight

Absolutely, you kinda think. OK this game is good, lots to do and see. Then you go outside and are just blown away by the size of the game.

 

So is it worth hijacking the HD telly in the living room for playing this?

Just a quick note for New Vegas players get Boone and give him the Anti Material Rifle went into the quarry near Sloan which is rife with Deathclaws (about 10 + an Alpha Male and Mother Deathclaw) and he fecked them up real good

On the Xbox the triggers control the 3 lights you will see at the bottom (Stats,Item and Data),then the left stick controls the sub section (i.e. in Stats you have Status,Special,Skills, Perks and General)

 

I still haven't finished Oblivion, never mind Fallout 3 or New Vegas.

Ummm ok, so i am outside, what do i do?

I went for a walk about while the missus was watching me play, she was intrigued on the idea that you had a choice between good and bad, i had been good so far

Found Megaton, walked into the bar and just started clobbering people

I think my save game is up to 41 hours now

 

And this is the reason why these games are so much fun,yes you have to do certain missions etc to actually play the game but wandering around finding new places ,random encounters e.g. in New Vegas I was set upon by a bunch of women armed with rolling pins

 

is it possible to save her dog at the start ?

 

Major glitch this evening went through a door and my gun just kept firing and couldn't stop it ! Changed controllers thinking it was that! But now it's saved that glitch I can't stop it

 

Found a few loading bugs normally fast travelling but on the upside I've found the Fatman Nuke launcher

 

I got the fatman launcher but no nukes for it The only problem i have is some of the loading times take up to 45 seconds. I did find a railway tunnel neat the boomers base which is seriously glitched though, I was falling through the floor every 5 seconds.

 

I've 1 nuke (not sure where i found it though) and the Fatman Little Boy mod for it,haven't explored the tunnel as the black guy says he sees people going in but none coming out (obviously due to a glitch )

 

Okay, so i'm happy I left the vault now.

I've blown up Megaton, let the ghouls into that tower... and now I've got a ghoul mask
