Thanks guys.

Carnut ........ a long time mate. The difference between something like a car to a portrait is heaps of angles to get right.
I've generated the picture in my computer first (to make it a one off) then copy it from my monitor.
The actual drawing is about 3 times larger than the full screen image on my pc so I need to scale the entire car up x 3 using a proportional diver. The initial line drawing takes about 10 hours, then the artwork starts.
There will probably be around 30 - 35 hours to complete.

Well you know what they say, "its a work of art" should probably throw the word "long" in there somewhere to.

Nice job as always Skull.
Any particular reason you depicted Lewis in his current helmet design and shown his livery and the car both in last year's guise?

Yes mate. It's the 2013 Merc.
The 2014 is totally different. When you draw something you live in the thing for some hours and as I was doing the line drawing I noticed the transponders were different. I then realised it wasn't the 2014 car.
I'm glad I opted for the 2013 car. Have you seen the detail on the 2014 front wing !!!!! Geez it's a work of art.

I prefer the look of last season's cars. I was just interested as to why you had chosen to depict Lewis in 2 differing F1 'eras' in the same series of art work.

Thanks guys

Joz I am going to wait until the end of 2015 F1 season as I think he may win this year too in which case I have something in mind.

Thought I would do a drawing consisting of all my favourite thngs as a young boy from toys to TV programs.
Do you middle aged folk recognize much in the drawing below ??
