Carnut ........ a long time mate. The difference between something like a car to a portrait is heaps of angles to get right.
I've generated the picture in my computer first (to make it a one off) then copy it from my monitor.
The actual drawing is about 3 times larger than the full screen image on my pc so I need to scale the entire car up x 3 using a proportional diver. The initial line drawing takes about 10 hours, then the artwork starts.
There will probably be around 30 - 35 hours to complete.

Yes mate. It's the 2013 Merc.
The 2014 is totally different. When you draw something you live in the thing for some hours and as I was doing the line drawing I noticed the transponders were different. I then realised it wasn't the 2014 car.
I'm glad I opted for the 2013 car. Have you seen the detail on the 2014 front wing !!!!! Geez it's a work of art.

Joz I am going to wait until the end of 2015 F1 season as I think he may win this year too in which case I have something in mind.
Thought I would do a drawing consisting of all my favourite thngs as a young boy from toys to TV programs.
