This may seem a bit fanciful, but to me they each give off a different message, as if they are drawn from real life.
The guy on the left is saying "They were good, but we were better"
The centre one is telling you that he'll cut the legs from under you, it's not over yet for him.
The one on the right has seen a lot of pain and misery and doesn't want to talk about it.

Just my take on them Skull.
Fantastic set of portraits though whatever the message.

I'm glad you tried to read their expressions Blue.

I had a reference photo for the guy on the left but the middle and right guy are made up.

I've read a heap of books on body language over the years and the knowledge is a huge aid when drawing portraits.
You can draw 99 faces that will look okay and a single one that's generates a feeling and it's those "single" ones you aim for.

There is much to learn about drawing "just a face".
For example without using any form of reference draw a mans face with his mouth wide open and eyes shut as if he is in agony. Then draw the same face with eyes shut and mouth wide open but laughing his head off.
My Mrs & kids have often walked in on me wondering what the hell I am doing looking in a mirror pulling the most stupid faces.

Yep, the one of the left looks like he has the T shirt, the middle one looks like he is up for it any minute and the right guy is the quiet one that will sit and say nothing.

Ha ha. I'm guessing she was expecting you to venture down more of a 'My Little Pony'-based avenue...?

Awesome drawing though.

Will you be including a smoking Mercedes in the background, and a recently spat dummy bouncing down the tarmac?

Only kidding Skull, looking forward to seeing this develop.

Clive, have ever thought of creating your own little business?

Galleries would crawl over broken glass to exhibit and sell work of that quality! You gotta do it!!!

Thanks for the nice comments gents.

Joz . I've been in the drilling game for 30+ years and own a small business. I would never earn the same doing artwork full time.
I do earn from it as I get £300 -£500 for commissions. I'm also building up a stock of artwork and will be getting some of them printed and selling them as limited addition prints (50).

You won't see this pic of Hammy anywhere as I built the picture before I drew it.
