Just to say was great to meet and greet some of you guys, some cracking motors and what a night. Missus and kids loved every minute of it. Maybe in the summer, you can all come north and do a birmingham tunnel run with WMI, you'd be made to feel right at home (plus there's no so many speed cameras so you can let loose)

See you again chaps.

Hello Graham, I dont believe we have spoke/met before
Feel free to call me (number is on the WMI website) and arrange to meet up to discuss this slight issue you have with West Mids Impreza's helping out with this charity fundraising event.
Please note as a Birmingham lad I have supported the ESC and TR since TR1 (I have the DVD to prove it )

On a slightly happier note, what a great evening

Thanks to all involved and those that made the night a success, Im sure the British Heart Foundation will be chuffed with our donation, heres to 2011

This was our second tunnel run and we enjoyed it just as much as the 1st. A huge thank you to everyone who took the trouble to organise such a great event and lets hope that we can do it all again next year.
The guy who got the paint thrown on his car, i hope you got it sorted as thats not good and the gut who got rear ended, hope you pick up a bumper soon.
One last comment, it was so much better and safer parking in Billingsgate Market, well done whoever got that sorted.

What a magical night!

Thank you to all of those that attended and supported the event, we have raised a total of £1016.50 for a very worthy charity - the British Heart Foundation.

Without your presence, the event would have not been the same.

More importantly I would like to thank the people who have assisted on the regional element:

-M444GY for co-ordinating MSOC
-Tom87 & B4DHK for co-ordinating West Mids Impreza's
-TurboAndy & Emz for co-ordinating BABS

And the most important have to be my fellow team members, without whom, this event would have been impossible:

- Bri4n for leading!
- Wongy for the stickers & Billingsgate passes
- Karen for setting up the "behind the scene's forums"
- TurboAndy for his constant updates on club forums, leading the recce as I landed back into the UK
- Emz for contacting McDonalds & negotiating with Billingsgate Markets & the mad red bull supply.
- Lorraine for liasing with The British Heart Foundation & providing a 'ground team' locally & setting up at Thurrock on the night.
- Dave_Scooby for his efforts in designing the poster & direction booklets with the visual guides.
- Charlie, Helen, Debbie & co for going around the cars collecting money.
- 0121subs for his efforts in leading the latter half.
- Milamber for discussing how things were done before.

Everyone has worked extremely well together to make this happen, and not everyones tasks/roles were fixed, they were all very dynamic and as a team, have helped each other well - and the team have covered me well whilst I was out of the country.

I know there were a few 'issues' created on the day on this thread. Yes the event did have organisers from a range of clubs nationally as we were the ones who clearly shouted up and put the event together. Simple.

It stands that we can't please all the people, all of the time, as Bri4n very rightly said.

And trying not to repeat myself - the presence of great cars + great people made the event a success - I thank you again for your support in raising money for the chosen charity.

Just to clear that point up, i don't think there was ever any issue with members of other areas helping arrange the event, i think it was the 'Subarus only' in big, bold, red letters that some took offence to.

You don't have to own an Impreza to be part of the ESC

Very well said

I think we all worked together very well as a team, each doing our own little bit and it all came together on the night!

And a great sum raised for the charity, everyone obviously donated very generously, so thanks to all . I did find it rather strange though that most people preferred to buy their stickers from my daughter rather than me.....................

What a shame though about the two people whose cars were damaged (rear ender and yellow paint)

Here's to next year

What a fab night!!
I actually remembered some of the routes from when I went a few years back.

IT was so much fun!! Got slightly lost on the way home from the market, with a few others, but luckily OH has been working a lot in London recently, so was able to guide me and a few others back onto the A13!

All in all a great night... I don't want to remove my Tunnel Run sticker!!

Are there official pics being loaded up??
