Due to the bloody exchange rate 500,000 yen would of been £2500 a couple year back. Think it will be the last car i get from Japan for a while now as it looks like the 3 is going to get weaker especially next year when this double dip hits its peak.

very nice indeed!

Always said that 'hardcore' Impreza's should be white, but that does look damn good in blue!

And i like the way its not overly in your face, less is more!!

do you know why?

The cars in a different league I am surprised at how agile it is. It feels sharper then the RA-R. The brakes are better then any other set up I've used before including AP and alcons all round. I've not been on track with it and don't think i will to be honest unless i get time before the wet season kicks in. The front air dams are an extra from arai motor sport. You'll be able to read a full feature soon against the sti cosworth in the best car Mag. This is the same spec car as the sti saloon that lapped the nurburgring ,but a few kilo's lighter with it being a hatch.

In all honesty the car will stand me at £40,000 on the road due to the exchange rate. Cost of car was £31k before it even left the dock side plus £2k shipping. Then 17.5% vat and 10% customs plus testing and reg fee's your lookng at best part of £40k.

Sounds like you want one if so drop me a pm.

i saw one in white, in manchester for sale for £35k, i emailed the company to let me know a p/x price, they never replied so i left it at that!!

the new STI saloon is said to be fitted with the R205/spec C suspension as standard!!! god knows how much extra thats gonna put on the retail price!!!

the brakes on the R205 are £5k but from what I've heard, are probably the best kit you can buy as they are road versions of the WRC spec brakes

They don't have the STI set up as standard on the JDM cars all those are optional extra's and the front brake kit alone cost's £5000

Iain L does them for about 35 I think or about 100 fitted, am trying to sort out a GB on lamin x at the moment for the pre cut film in various colours, will post up if anything comes of it and lamin x can supply these, they are still looking into it at the moment.
