I would travel as far as i had to for the right car, not sure how far away it is for you but is a day of your life not worth getting the best car available. I've done a 6 hour round trip just for a set of wheels

The advantage of buying off known members on here is you can search through their posts and get a good idea of the car and it's owner. It is hard to hide it's history so i would ring the seller have a chat ask a few questions. The seller is not going to lie about condition etc as you'll see for yourself. Ask for more photo's etc.

Basicly don't be put off by distance, what's £100 in traveling if it saves you £K's in the long run.

Just my opinion mind

Totally agree, I drove from my house in west wales to folkstone to buy my car, 14 hours driving!!!!

it does kind of put you off intrest of buying something when you see posts from the seller and other members ridiculing each other,makes you think twice with what kind of people you would be dealing with.
