WMI 1 year anniversary - Go Karting - Sunday 5th Sept
Cliff I'm as slow in a go kart as I am in mu Impreza. I can't rememer the details but the bottom of the fastest lap league looked like this.
16th. A girl
17th. A girl
18th. Tom
19th. A girl
Shame.

Tom, there is no shame there. Its nice to be surrounded by girls, and there are 17 improvments you can make. I just wanted to know what times people did as Im looking for a decent kart track to go and play at. If its a 20 second lap then I dont want to bother, but if its longer then I might go and take a look at it.

As far as I remember the average lap time time is around 1 minute dead - and it's a pretty cool track too with a couple of really challenging corners.
If I remember rightly the fastest lap was 47 seconds, I just about managed under a minute, this is a great track, check out my post in general chat from yesterday, video showing the track.
Thinking of going Monday evening (turn up and race) £20 for 30mins, if you fancy going.

As a responsible WMI member
and as the videos i was taking on Sunday only showed my feet and hands, i felt it was my duty
to go again last night and video the track, will edit it and put on her and FB later today, because of the rain, the roof was letting a bit in, the hairpin at the top of the ramp was interesting and the start stop corner was a bit tricky, good for getting the back end out.
