Well not only have Scoobyclinic aranged for 10 of their sponsored cars to support this event they have now gone one step further ! Kev has come to an arrangement with Straightliners and Scoobyclinic will now sponsor the whole event. I am really pleased as this sort of support is just what we need to makes these events stand out and live in to the future.
So we now have officially 'The Scoobyclinic Scoobyshootout'

About time Banny,
looking forward to seeing what your motor does.
Also looking forward to seeing what my car does down the strip,
last time was a 13.4 with 102 MPH.
I know some of the other motors will distroy me on the strip,
dofo looking forward to it now.

From: oop north in a spec-c.Now sold and starting on a classic ra track/sprint/road car
Bez Im travelling over in the morning so might be late traffic etc can you save me a parking place coz it looks like its going to be a busy competitors pit/park area. 13.4/102 ???? I would have thought your car would have been quicker than that.I think my best to date has been 12.60 /116 terminal/1.770 60ft which this year I hope to beat with the new clutch in.
As Mad Hammer says STRAIGHTLINERS are pleased to announce that the SCOOBY CLINIC have come on board with a sponsorship package that will see this event grow it gives Straightliners the chance to cement this event in our calendar give it a better date slot in 2011 and with the Clinics help this event will go from strength to strength
So take a look at the new Scooby shoot out web site where you will find all the event details and some amazing offers from the Scooby Clinic you can find the site by going to www.straightliners-events.co.uk
We hope to see you all at the SCOOBY CLINIC SCOOBY SHOOT OUT on the 3rd October first runs at 10.30,,,,Trev

alright guys, i have put a thread up in driving dynamics regarding best way to get your car down that strip, would appreciate any1s input on this as i am a relative notice in comparison, and would like to make sure i get the best out of my car and setup, cheers.

Looks like there might still be a good flavour of cars there.
