Fergie is shrewed, a to55er , but shrewed. I reckon thicko Rooney has been given a massive pay rise, told what he wants to hear about splashing millions on new players just to get him to sign a new contract, so Fergie can ship him out in the summer? but get a big transfer for him. Could backfire though, seeing as Rooney is Man USA's worst player anyway.
I mean, what must SAF have thought about him questioning his squad? saying it's not good enough, Rooney saying he didn't want to carry the team, a la Gerrard at Liverpool ( though you can't argue with that )

Reina to United in January/Summer ?

Big enough rumour for Woy to come out and say he aint for sale.

If the O'Shea rumours are true about his new £80K a week contract where will it end, the whole Rooney £200-250K a week could destroy us as they will all say well if he's worth £250 (which he isn't) then we want £100-150K, the mind boggles.

I see the **** has said he was never going to leave, 8ollocks was he, I stick by my earlier post, he will be sold next summer Berba and Hernandez have looked good together since day 1.

There is bound to be a player revolt over Rooneys pay, and with the club approaching a billion in debt! how will they survive?

Actually, they've used a picture of my body, after a very strenuous training regime

They will get sold when the yanks can't afford it anymore - easy raise a £1bn with a global brand like theirs (give yourself another 50 years and some sustained success and you'll understand better)

We should go for Given, whether City would sell to us is a different story.

In 50 years Man USA will be a distant bankrupt memory, just like Woolies . RA has a couple of billion in his back pocket, you don't get much more global than that

So you'd rather run a business by having a singular bank roller throwing cash at his latest fad rather than a long term business plan what happens when RA gets bored and pulls the plug eh?

Wouldn't wanna work for your company if that's how you prefer to run things

His latest fad is lasting a long time, another desperate quote copied from Liverpool fans. When he walks away we'll be debt free, he is owed nothing. You reckon it's much better to buy something and loading it with a massive debt? You still at Corus Cob? Then you'll know all about it

United are in the **** no doubt about it but for Chelsea fans to think their club is on solid ground are deluded. ol roman could disappear one way or another at any time and then the club although debt free is running each year at at least a £50mil loss. That plus an aged team would mean they could not cope without his funds and thus they would quickly sink back into the pack of mid table obscurity. The moral is to enjoy your time in the sun now because it will be relatively fleeting.

Whereas Man U are losing 80 million and have a very young squad? RA won't go anywhere, his money is too safe in this county. You'll have to dream up something else.

Ok Paul, we'll see which club has the best business plan when the FFPL is introduced! If you took both owners out the equation which club makes money and which club doesn't?

Ok, as things stand we'll be allowed in European competitions and you won't

I'd rather the banks owned us than those yank *****

Our losses were down to stupid one off payments not an operating loss.

it does worry me though, why do these ppl borrow money to buy a club knowing the debt they are going to have to repay, everybody knows there is no profit in football unless youre a player

Does winning the Carling Cup get you into Europe?

Yeah when he walks way your club is sooo big it will be able to pay the wage bill and still compete with other self made clubs. Remembering Utd were massive before the Glaziers came along and would have a wealth of interest should they become available... Chelsea however have had one rich owner and the best manager you had left after a couple of seasons... You'll forgive me if I see Utds future and brand brighter than a small club in Fulham

As for Tata don't believe everything you read or hear from a mate of a mate

It sure does, as does winning the FA Cup and finishing 1st-5th* in the league.

*This could change depending on cup winners, fair play league and Inter toto cup.

Winning any of these still wouldn't get Chelsea into Europe the way it is being run though, so once again tell me which has the best buisness plan

The sale of Ronaldo was the only way you would've made it into Europe last season under Pratinis new rules, if selling your only decent player to play in Europe every season is good business, carry on

Come on you can do better than that, £100.8m cash profit was made by the club. The losses were due to one off payments and refinancing, if it weren't for these then we would have made £25-30m profit.

So whats to stop another RA - there are many with more money than him- buying MUFC as one of the two or three biggest club football brands in the world (Real and Barcelona being the others) - with the longest history of any team playing in the premier league?

" The difference between men and boys is the cost of their toys" - the arabs daft enough to back Citeh make him look comparatively poor and there's more of those out there who might fancy trumping all the other wannabees. You are aware that RA only got into footy after watching MU play and then had to settle for a shed in Fulham when he failed the "No dodgy Russian mafia needed here" test at Old Trafford...

The orginal RA will keep you and himself afloat only so long as he keeps Putin sweet and no one else he has "done business" with while he was scrambling over in Siberia doesn't slip him a radioactive Early Grey because if that happens - your ground will be a wine bar full of braying sloanes before you can blink.
