Hi,

What are the gear ratios mate? 4.44 final drive? What advantages does Quaife provide? Stronger gears?

Cheers,
Imran

Gear ratios are group n. Same as ra box i think. Top speed of box and diff is 130mph at 7000 rpm. Shorter ratios means improved acceleration and less drop off in revs between gears so ideally suited to narrow power bands. The Quaife gearset is alot stronger than standard and is almost straight cut and overall width of cogs is increased.

Hi,
Can you please confirm if this is a 4.444 FD gearbox - very interested. Its not a dog box is it? Still need to engage gears with the clutch?

Thanks,
Imran

Hi mate, acorording to info i have final drive would be 4.44 for STI ver 2 so yes as box was built around my original set up. I am selling with rear diff to avoid any issues.
Box is a syncro box as you say you still need to clutch each gearchange.
Cheers.
