mus i am not saying don't take an offer as if you want it gone and it means it is a faster turn around then fine but i mean don't drop the asking price as no one will be willing to pay the asking price and if you drop it too quickly you will end up at asking price of 9k or less before you know it and have to take less then you wanted for it in the first place. if you leave it where it is now for a month or so and someone offers you a fair price and you want it gone then let it go.

Looks like a great spec for a great price. Could perhaps be interested but I would need to get my own V5 Type R sold here in Sweden first.

Any rust?

Hey fud, please don't tell me the 22b will be going!!! For a r26. How did the simtec go on the 22b?

Me I am rocking out in a work horse mate. 98 plate 2.5 v6 CDX vectra auto estate. Best bit is it's fully loaded, heated seats climate control so is perfect for to and fro work and the shops and is better suited for my 6 year old german Shepard.

Killing me not having an impreza or in fact a fast/track car, needs must though I really want to get on the housing ladder. In the new year if it's not looking like I can buy what I want I will leave it and keep on renting.

Good stuff brad get your bits done and put me, fud and more importanty mus out of our misery and get it snapped up lol

good to hear, i thought another 22b might bite the dust and get spoilt with too many mods then, how does it handle compared to the classic type r

wow 270 hole miles and you still have it, that's a new one for you lol. i wish i could fud but it wont be until the end of the year / early next year at the earliest as i am trying to sort a few bits out. sucks but has to be done

might have your 22b off ya if you still have it lol, but i doubt that

brad get it bought!!!!!

Mus, just double checking that the calipers are the standard Sti 4 pots up front and standard 2 pots rear?

What ft/lb on map 1 450bhp did it make?

Sooooo amazed this has not gone yet

the caliper is standard size never had a problem with it to be honest always done the job if aint broken don’t fix it. on vpower map it mad 460/445 around that figure.

Im thinking of breaking it if it doesn’t sell within the next week im getting way too many part x offers. To be honest if I can get a mini or dc5 plus cash I wouldn’t mind as I would pass it on to the mrs and get her of my case about a new car

mus, its been two weeks mate - Rome was not built in a day pal.

if you need it gone then take an offer on it, if not hold out and please don't split it as that would be such a waste. if you have it up at 10k take an offer

i agree stevie

I just got an offer by a company near me who will break it for me. engine, interior all supporting mods, box, clutch and every thing. my shell I will pass on a to a good friend who is currently building a crazy motor in project section I wont say who yet. Its difficult you see it every day and cant drive even when I try and drive it I struggle cant even give it the beans. So its properly best to just break it im sure ill get around 10k or maybe a little more than 10k for it. im going to be researching prices over the next week and proberly sign up to Scooby net ill be a full member so I can advertise all the parts and that way once im better I can come back with something faster .

what do you think is a fair price for a rolling shell. shell in great condition?

mus surely if you are going to make around 10k by splitting it, agreed may be a little more. remember that yeah maybe the big stuff will go quickly but you will still be left with a lot to get rid of and that takes time. so it will not be a quick money maker.

then factor in that you have to pay the garage a rate to remove it all then surely one of the offers from either fud or brad must be close to what you will end up after you have sat on the parts, dealt with all the messers and paid the garage.

if it were me i might consider a cheeky offer first
