I don't really wave at them, as they would prob post something up about how a scoob driver gestured out of jealousness or something, quite an insecure bunch on there giving the decent guys a bad name. .

no, I'm being totally unoriginal and unimaginative - I'm Stevo7 over there too!
I wave/nod at anyone who does to me first - IF I see them.
I will nod'smile at others if I like their car - or have had a little tussle with them!
I dont really care what they drive.
i guess all car clubs have their share dont they. Someone who blindly thinks whatever they drive is the best and listed to no reasoning or POV.

and you seem like one of the decent ones, pistonheads have it right, we are 'jap chat' on their forum. From the outside the scoob and the evo are not that different, if i could, i would have both or either but hate neither.

I thought I'd pop over and say Hello, and just to let you guys know it was just something I did as a bit of fun for ribbing a few mates and keeping the Evo vs Scooby banter very much alive at a forthcoming Show in Devon at the end of July. It's all been done in good humour, in just the way I tell blonde jokes to blondes and Irish jokes to the irish... all for a bit of a laugh.
If anyone is interested in buying one, I've spent the afternoon getting one made up with a T-Shirt designer. They're not screen printed but the pre cut out on a vinyl plotter and the heat bonded to the T-Shirts after. There are various sizes available, and if anyone is interested then the details can be viewed on this post here. MLR CLICKY
Thanks for taking it in the manor it was intended, drive safe, and don't let us with our LARGER ***** get you down
Regards

I've got another username over on the MLR too - I'm sure most of you are aware of it (or at least -what’s behind the username)
It's........ CARBONGOODIES
I don’t get it when someone gets their backside handed to them and throws a paddy! Theres ALWAYS gong to be someone who’s spent more/done better things…. I’m sitting with about 370-380, which to be honest isn’t slow – there is a lot out there that I cant get near though – Still makes me smile though.
Cheers mate – you’re right they aren’t too different. Most people on most forums are all good. You get the odd keyboard warrier. I'm a firm believe in not saying to someone, something you couldnt say to their face.
I also dont think a car is really worth getting worked up over.

Lets go over to the Scooby forum and try to sell them T-Shirts where we take the mick out of their obvious poor car choice and tiny ******!!
Cant argue with that - I LOVE the burble a Scooby makes.
My Evo has a good note on the exhaust, and does a nice burble on overrun, but only if I just keep the throttle open a little on the overrun.
But yes, scooby burble is just ace.
Looks like there might be some fun to be had over here with the ‘enemy’ too!
Another forum I have to check every 10 minutes throughout the day now! Thank goodness for unlimited internet!! Hahaha

Not all us Evo boys are **** you know. Most do have a SOH
If having a SOH is dependeant on having owned some crap buckets, I must be Bob Monkhouse - I've had cortinas, Rover 820's (one was an 820 Vitesse, Can i get SOME redemption for that!) even a 1.3 maestro!!!
Personally I dont understand this silly rivalry...
Evos hate Scoobs - Scoobs hate Evos
Evos and Scoobs hate BMW
Everyone hates kids in corsas....
I dont get it - I just love cars - all (most) of them.
I dont get hacked off if some kids in a warm hatch wants to TRY to race, I normally just blip the throttle to make some noise and they go off happy.
I do get a bit frustrated if I pull up alongside a scooby, and the driver just goes into that "I'm the only one on the road" stare!
If I see a nice one, I'll smile and nod - but seems they dont even wanna acknowledge that I'm even next to them.
Give a guy a break - if you see me pootling about in a silver evo with a few carbon bits - smile - or I'll smoke you in to the middle of next week!!

Scooby v Evo, one of those classic rivalries- both are nice cars. Have much love for fast jap cars in general anyway, so this is all just good banter.
Nearly got an Evo 6 instead of my STi PPP but decided to get the scooby as I don't go on track that much I wouldn't benefit from the Evo's marginal extra sharpness, plus the Scooby sounds better with its awesome burble plus it seems a fair whack cheaper to run too (insurance/servicing intervals etc). Mines a daily driver.
But both are good cars in their own rights, both have pros/cons.
