Cheers mate, thought it was a pic of a newage one fitted!!
I just had a quick look under the bonnet of my car and couldn't see any holes already drilled on the strut tower which is where i thought it fitted??
Does that mean you have to drill holes to fit it or am i just blind?
Basically, are all the holes there ready to just bolt it on?
Cheers.

Thanks for sending the tracking number, although some words would have been welcome too - the fact that you simply sent a link to RM tracking and the actual tracking number, with literally no other information felt like you really don't care.
Anyway, tracking confirms posted on 1 September, but I still have nothing. What now? I hope you're not expecting me to wait two weeks and take it up with RM?

Yeah I believe it is as it fits in exactly the same position just uses different holes. If you look at how the two parts are put together in the pic on the first page of this post the rest will be easy. Failing try doing a search on here there must be a thread for the fitting somewhere.

Is there any fitting guides for a Classic GC8 as nothing came with the kit?
-Also I dont seem to have the really long bolt as shown attached to the bracket in the bottom right in the pic below ??:
-And instead of washers they seem to have given me 3 nuts instead & 1 extra little bolt just to confuse me further?
-Also why do the hole sizes in the brackets have no relevance to the bolt widths, as supplied?
-Why doesnt the aluminum red cap, screw itself into the end of the (missing) bolt? It doesnt have a thread inside it
Why not just include a photocopied little scrap of paper with an items checklist & one pic with a little guide showing which bolts go where. The pdf is only for a newage from what I can find. I can easily go down to the hardware shop & get all new bolts etc to my own sizes & make it fit, but I would rather get it sorted seeing as its new & not a used ebay jobbie.

PM me your address i can forward an M8 x50mm bolt onto you
The red cap is not threaded as there is no need for it to be and on Honda's the end of the MC are not always perfectly flat so the red bit aligns itself to the face
It bolts together as shown in the picture and then goes up against your shock turret. If i had a classic then we'd do some instructions. But its really not difficult to fit
Thanks

Mini-review, GC8 version
I had one of these before

As you can see it costs a lot more. It did not come with all the hardware, so I had to go and buy some bolts and washers. The people who sell that item do not (as far as I know) come on Scoobynet and communicate with us.
I used that part for over a year. It did improve the pedal feel. We did a comparison, with my Dad pushing the pedal in the car I watched the master cylinder with and without the stopper, and there was a difference. However, that part is aluminium alloy. It is lighter, but also quite flexible. I was disappointed some flex was still present, and also thought it was possible I might snap it if I tightened it right up and then braked very violently. It seemed too weak.
I got the Tegiwa part and immediately noticed it is heavier and stronger (steel). I did have to call for the missing long bolt, but they sent it over with no fuss. It would have been nice if there were instructions, but the one I had before only had incomprehensible ones. The photos on this thread help a lot. It would also be a good idea to have the washers included.
But, this brake stopper does the job much better. There is almost no flex, and it could perhaps be entirely eliminated, I'm just not sure how tight I dare do up the bolt - I don't want to break the master cylinder! The thing looks very good too. It is very sturdy, and I'm sure I can't break the brake stopper. I did have to slightly bend one of the other brackets to accommodate it, and it is tricky to fit. But the brake pedal action is now starting higher up, a noticeable improvement over the stopper I had before. This gives you more confidence in your brakes, which is very welcome in the STI version 4 with 4 pots.
I hope that helps people who are wavering. I cannot recommend the ebay competitor. This one is cheaper and more effective.
