How are these fitting for the classics?

Received mine today but to be honest the finish doesn't look that great?

Did you try and fit it? I just got it out of the packaging and I thought it look very poor quality to be honest.

I would like to hear peoples views who have fitted one though?

Newage really arnt far away now
We fitted it to Lukes yesterday and all was fine

Chips must have happened during postage - as the powder coat can 'chip' off

Other than the finish there is ZERO difference between these and Cusco (Ours powder coated/Cusco - normal paint)
And as said above they do work well - surprising well

Thanks
Johnny

Smart move !
A retailer that simply doesn't any answer is asking for problems when ordering.
That's the problem these days, anybody with a laptop and an internet connection can start a bussiness.
I would suggest to find one at the usual and well trusted retailers or high rated Ebay shops.

I had one of the first ones of these on the group buy and mine arrived with several chips. I was spun the same tale of how many had been sold that were absolutely fine - I was offered a partial refund. Strangely enough though pm's about this stopped getting responses. Gave up in the end - just won't use them again.

To be fair tho, apart from the finish, it is a good bit of kit. There is planty of potential for these not to line up but fitting was not a problem at all. Everything lined up fine. It is pretty fiddly to fit on a MY00 UK Turbo to get it behind all the brake gubins. The holes are already occupied but with a little patience and some time spent on the incumbent bracket with a drill, a file and a decent socket set it does fit without modification. (like the one pictured further up this page, post No61)

What i do find striking is that none of you actually left negative feedback ....
I mean if you are not satisfied or you paid for something and got nothing in return than negative feedback would be the least you could do.

Hi

Sorry for not responding sooner, i havent been on here in a while, and i think i need to set up thread notifcations on email

DaveBeck - i can refund you if thats what you want (email me your paypal address - johnny@tegiwaimports.com) or if you can wait just one more week then it will be with you. I promise!

Regarding the chips, im sorry about this. These now get packaged better so hopefully it wont happen from now on. Again i will honour the partial refund

The reason the GDB has taken so long to producs is that is has a quite complex set of compound bends so its been difficult. One part has been made and coated but without the other piece is useless. This is a picture showing the main part done and ready

We had 100 made so there will be plenty in stock.

We are not out to rip people off. Sorry you felt we were. I'll make sure i check back on here more frequently from now on

Thanks and sorry once again
Johnny

I'll take a GDB one if you can provide a link to order one.
I'll take an unpainted/unpowder coated if that helps because i would get it done red anyway.
