If this is the same car i looked at about 18 months ago, then isnt it a Motorsport spec Spec-C.

IE it doesnt have all the special equipment like a normal Spec-C, like no oil cooler?

Still an amazing car mind!

Oh and not trying to degrade the advert at all, just gott amake sure people know what they are getting in this day and age!!

oh, and if its not the same car, then i apologise, and carry on!

Yes it is a motorsport spec-c. I was the original owner and took it in its original form ie throw-away seats and 4 pot brakes etc.

Nice car, interesting with this "motorsport" model,i never knew and i will very shortly be looking to buy a blob spec-c.
Should it not have blue carpet ?
What else varies from a normal spec-c ?
How can you tell ?

When they're made they have steel wheels, throwaway interior from a GL model (or something similar), throw away front brakes, etc. They also have grey door cards and no stereo. Most of them don't have air con or electric windows (mine has both though).

The guy I bought mine off put an STi interior in, AP Racing 6-pots, Kenwood double-din stereo/dvd/satnav unit, Prodrive PFF's, etc. Higher spec than a standard Spec C now, especially after the remap

A mixed day of emotions for me. Always nice to find a buyer for a car you're selling, particularly if it's to a fellow enthusiast. However it's sad to know you're selling a special car that gives you a massive smile each time you drive it.

At least I know it's going to a good home

Thanks Rich, your car is in excellent condition and a real credit to you, I could not believe how quick in comparison to my S202 the Spec C is.

I cannot wait to take it out for a blast, I think I'll take it up the Brecon Beacons on my way home (a little out of the way I know).

Every time I drive it and put my foot down I say to myself "f**k me, this is a REALLY quick car!"

Wait until it's just you in it, on your own (without the weight of 3 people in it), it really it VERY fast and the handling is unbelievable.

The hunt is on now for an Audi A4 S-Line

Who cares if the car was the Motorsport version.... at that price (with all the bits on it) it was as cheap as ****!

Cannon Fodder,
Welcome to the fold!

I really can't wait Rich, I have been without an Impreza on the drive now since Saturday and I think I'll definitely taking the long route home just so I can take it out on some of my favourite country roads.

Like I have said the car is a real credit to yourself and I am really pleased to be the next owner.

I don't know if you have seen this car for sale on here, it might just be what you are after:

Thanks guys, I must say this was the first twin scroll car that I had ever driven but I now believe that twin scroll is now the only way to go on a standard turbo. Their is virtually no lag whatsoever and the power is instant it really brought a smile to my face on the test drive.
