JP4mance - Perrin 3 Port Boost Solenoid

I am building a V storm with an impreza engine. The cold feed to the turbo is via a short feed from the top scoop so I dont have anywhere to connect a vacuum pipe as it would have on the standard model. I believe with the Perrin EBCS it can be directly connected between the wastegate actuator (mine is internal) and the turbo nipple and just have the third connector discharging to the air ? Is that correct or have I mis understood the theory, Thanks
