stu with all due respect mate(and by that I mean none) the car has only been for sale for what four days so I would like to ask you to please keep comments like that to your self or next time pm me what your thoughts are. That is a very negative commet to make regarding the millage which may put off potential buyers. Also please tell me what car in it's life time has probably not been drive hard albeit a standad 280bhp or a 500bhp car but I can assure you and anyone else this car has been looked after and maintained to the highest degree. As for 5k offer thanks but the engine and gearbox would be worth that alone let alone the rest so again thanks for the offer but jog on and next time please pm me if you have anything to say.

FPMSL have you seen the Spec? It's worth treble that derisory offer in parts alone ...

ha sold to the man himself, a bacon butty is a deal maker if ever i knew one not interested in adding this to your collection or splitting it for parts no harm in asking or making a cheeky offer

hope things are well david and you guys are nice and busy

kind regards

Good luck with the sale, dont sell it under for under the asking price, you just have to wait for the right buyer.

Hi David, how you doing, very good as usual i suppose

I know i know, thought i would get some stick, but thats a small price to pay for the fun i am having at the mo, it may only be a blip and be back in a scoob soon, who knows, just enjoying some hassle free power and fun while it lasts All the best David.

Anyway why is this awesome classic still here, beats me.

thanks Andy, this has had a lot of money thrown at it over the years by bob, and a lot of time getting it to the level it is. someone just like i did will get themselves a well sorted car here that they can just enjoy and not worry about big bills to finish it off as its all done.

thanks for everyone's kind words and support, just got to find a new owner now.

Just for the record.....

My car has always been driven with "intent" and has been used in various competitions as well as normal trackday excursions, but that does not take anything away from the car... personally I think it add's to the value as it shows that my car aint no piece of bodged up ****e. I would rather buy a car that has actually been used at this power level, with a proven track record and history, than a car that has just a dyno sheet for 500bhp and been used for a monthly visit to the corner shop!! You also normally find that cars that are "used" and have a proven record, actually have all the required bits fitted to maximise it's reliability. These cars aint just about 500bhp with a new engine...... it costs a lot and involves a lot more when you do it properly!

I certainly know that Bob has "used" this car, but that is what it was built and spec'd for! A low and behold it still sounds like it is going strong.... so I rest my case. This is a "proper" car!

Steve,
Good luck with the sale mate.

Shaun thanks for that mate, i really appreciate and 100% support and agree with your thoughts, it's one thing building a 500bhp car let alone one that will hold out and with stand been used. Funny thing is people seem to think just because the engine has done near on 60k since it's last build that it is due to go pop, I can't believe that people thing companies such as rcm and brdevelopments (bob Rawle) would build something that would not last.

Again thanks for your opinion
