I was thinking of catching you somewhere en route from here in Bassaleg.

I was gonna leave Bassaleg about 9.

I was aiming to stop at tesco in ystrad mybach to fill up with 97ron on way to merthyr.

That would mean heading from bassaleg to caerphilly then up the bypass to Ystrad.

From there past Nelson onto A470.

You fancy meeting in Bassaleg?

Its not that hard to find me.

If you got off motorway at tredegar house and head up the dual carriageway north, take the second exit off the first roundabout you come across and you'll see the Tredegar Arms Pub dead ahead. I could meet you there?

Its literally around the corner from me and en route so no fussing.

Been trying to fix my exhaust leak between the headers and up pipe but no joy gonna have to order a new one Monday!!

Im another casualty.. not with good reason either, just didnt have enough sleep n was too knackerd to drive and its a long drive for me.

Forget caravans, it's ice cream vans that are the new pain in the ar$e.

Also thanks to Ty for recommending that route back, it really was a roller coaster of a ride.

 

yes a great day out nice to catch up with you all nice and dry for us so that was a bonus missed the caravans on the way home glenn when i turned in builth came home over the back road heaven no traffic until i came round a bend met a quad with ten thousand sheep walking alongonce they wandered off road was nice and clear again

Great day out, had a cracking drive back, came down to Builth and turned right for LLandovery....
Decided at Llandovery to go left towards Sennybridge.
Got stuck behind an OAP for ages until the road opened up by Halfway
3 bikes and a lunatic in VW Touran overtook the OAP before i pulled out and past

1 mile down the road and whose the unlucky bast**d who got done ? MEEEE !!!

Coppers words - "i could hear you coming"

Done me for 74mph in a 60 - he was parked up on the straight and seen me overtaking, apparently he didnt point the laser at anybody else
He even told me that i would have got away with it upto 71mph

F**KING TAMPING !!!

 

Gutted for you mate, it's always hit and miss on these back roads.
