Ok, for all those who wish to travel over to Settle in a convoy,
we'll be meeting up at Little Chef/McD's just off the A56 in Haslingden. Travel down the M66 from Bury, then follow signs for Burnley/M65, you'll hit a large roundabout, and directly infront is Little Chef. Meet up, say around 0915(ish). Then we'll be heading off up the M65 to J13, and meeting up at the Thatch&Thistle pub which is the 1st left off the slip road from J13(M65), meet up around 0940(ish).
I'll be sending the meet up point in Settle this weekend to all who are attending.
Hopefully the weather will stay as it's been
Speak to ya all soon......

Ref routes, you'll probably have one sorted but food for thought is the B6265 (A59 turn off just b4 Skipton towards Kettlewell/Grassington and head north up onto the Hawes/Leyburn road - A684). These roads are truly superb with some quite tight twisty turns and some top pubs on route

Hi,
I am a real sccobie newbie, I haven't even picked up my car yet!!!
Have bought a MY00 Blue mica after my original purchase was stopped in it's tracks because it was an import and I was been sold it as a UK car.
Anyway can anyone tell me what the meet is about, and give me the details to come please?

Should be ok setting off from little chef around 0940 heading for clitheroe A59. We'll take the normal route to settle as there are so many cars.
Boomer and Dales, if you want to wait in a lay-by along the A59, we should be on that road around 1000'ish, and I'll phone you when we set off from haslingden, and when we get to whalley roundabout for the A59, sound ok?
