And with that rebuild and the current spec you'll be looking at a hell of a monster for one hell of a price

too be honest its a lovely car with a nice spec. However 8k for a car with a knocking bottom if it so is not worth it. You dont have to really break it. All you can do is remove a few mods then sell it for a lower price.

How can you say 8k isnt worth it mate?? Price up the parts on the car then add the price of a 2004 sti, it comes to a hell of alot more then (8k plus the cost of a rebuild!!!) Regarding your PM if you are serious feel free to come and view the car and make an offer, im sure the defis, stereo etc.. can be removed

Cheers

A blobeye which was stroked out to 2.1 with nearly everything done to it by Engine tuner was going for 10.5k. I understand what you are saying but a 04 plate car & all the mods are no good if the engine aint working. Why dont you just remove all the mods & give the car to me for 5K with the CDB, wheels & suspension

What i meant was that if you were to buy an 04 blob and fit all the parts that mine has it would cost you much more than buying my car and having it rebuilt! Thanks for the offer i'll keep it in mind

Top decision. I've wanted to advise you to keep it all along but glad you've seen the light yourself.

£3k+ depending on spec. Awesome car, surely a bargain at £8k.

How can you say that?! What's it worth before a rebuild, then deduct £3k for the rebuild. £8k seems fine to me ...
