I decided powerstation as I wanted my car aligned at the same time I thought it would be the ideal place to do both any ideas where else I can take it then as nobody local can seem to shift the -5 neg camber I have at the rear

As much as the owner of Powerstation is quite the misery guts, his staff are alright, and their rolling road facilities (in my opinion of course) are great. Lots of air flow, really cater to top mounts and the figures seem to come out rather accurate. Their suspension setup gear is top notch too.

I do remember reading about the incident with your friend H, shame really as my dad, brother and I have used them for multiple things in the past and always been treated great.

For what it's worth, David at APi now has a Dastek rolling road, but from previous discussions that I have had with him, I don't think he'd be interested in running a rolling road day, but it is of course worth you asking

 

totally agree Kos, I have know of Powerstation for many years but have personally never used them.

I was disgusted the way they lied and scammed Sizzla.
The best of it was they produced a fake receipt and put it up on SN, only for me to put up the original/un editted one LMAO.......Busted

I get on well with David at API and if this is something that interests a few of us then I will sort a RR day for this year.
I would be interested to see what my Type R is pushing as its a little rocket.

Yeah I get on great with David. Always have a sit down and chat to him about all sorts. Great guy.

I would be interested in coming as I love watching cars on the dyno, but most likely wouldn't run as I haven't done anything to the car since the last time I had it on the rollers. It's worth seeing what the interest is though for others to run

 

OMG just found and read that thread cant believe I missed it and cant believe a company who rely on having a good reputation wouldnt do anything in the way of damage limitation and work with the customer to fix the problem regardless of who was telling porkys!

API is nice and local, if you fancied a run down to Guilford (bit of a trek, 2hrs, but some cracking roads), I could ask Eurospec where I did my Dyno training to use there rollers as I’d be doing the runs we would get the rollers cheap, they accommodate for power days with BBQ and the like, we could probably run it in with something else.

Just a thought.

 

How the hell have you managed that?! I had to add camber bolts to mine and could still only get -4 :/

I have no idea! ive even tried camber bolts to straighten it up a little more got it too -2.5 now but thats maxed out ive even dropped the strut out again and re fitted plus the car has no sign of accident damage so that rules that out hence wanting to take it to someone like powerstation but I think ill give them a miss now
