Mention WMI.
There are a lot of people jumping on the "I am a tuner" bandwagon at the moment and the truth of the matter is, they have not got a clue!
Any more than 300bhp and you are better of selling up and getting an newage Sti imho bud, gearbox, stronger internals etc etc

Its turbo back exhaust, turbo uppipe, fuel pump, remap and i've already got a front mount and inductions kit for it
i'll give them a try H, and you say that but its insurance as its cheaper for me to insure a modified WRX than a STI, stupid really but its because i'm a young wipper-snapper.
i see your point but i dont think it makes financial sense for me, but then again depends how often i'm going to break mine.
Where have you used for the work on yours?
James give Mark @ thwaites a bell for some honest/expert advise.

This is what I've been looking into and depending on the ecu my latest quote for my blob eye running it's new age ecu is that I can have it open source mapped with a bit extra which was LC, flat shift and 2 maps but not ALS as that's still in development but can have it added when it's available with a simple tweak.

standard ecu's are good for up to 400bhp, then it gets a bit messy with MAF scaling hack as you run over the 300 g/s.
if you need any help pm me.

Daz, Birch has a newage which can be mapped.
For what you want on your classic, your car will need a standalone ecu
