That's awesome, brilliant picture
On a separate note, how long to you guys leave your Scoob ticking over before turning the engine off? I normally drive slowly/off boost the last 5 minutes of a journey, then leave it ticking over for 2-3 mins before turning off. Just interested in what others do
Bring on the first weekend of Scooby ownership!!

Hilla, as above, just take it easy (off boost) for the last mile or so, then leave it running for 30secs or so. Also let the car warm up when starting off.
Best way to see it is, would you get out of bed and start sprinting straight away or would you jog first then build up to a sprint

My 2 pennith worth, which i more than likely going to start something.
I've had my scoob for 4 yrs, done 27,000 miles plus, i have never warmed it up or cooled it down.
i never take it above 3000 rpm when cold and take it easy nearing the end of my journey.
leaving a car to tick over to warm is only going to give a build up of cardon, and **** off the catalytic converters, also driving the car will warm it quicker.
You may have notices that if you didnt manage to warm the car up that it seems a bit sluggish than normal, this is because the ecu has a coolant compensation / rpm / bost map which restricts the use of full power, hence protecting the engine from hight oil pressure when cold.
this has been and always will be an ongoing debate, do what ever you feel happy with.

Tyres, all the general stuff for a long journey, tax, insurance documents, in case the rozzers stop you and say they have no record of insurance so they take the car off you till you can prove otherwise.
and if you've got a decated car, i map some pops and bangs in to your ecu, for a small fee to our given charity.
