Come and have a go in mine Carl, im pushing 350 now, could be either Wheel horse power figures or its pulling timing because of overboosting.

I thought that, but there's two mappings, one for 225 and one for 265, the 07-08 is 225 and 09 onwards is <supposed> to have 265, I got a '59 plate but god knows how long its been in the subaru parking lot before going to the dealers. I suppose it wont matter after it gets mapped proper. Im fed up of the banger they gave me. Astra 1.6, 17 year old. Good nick (excellent even) just no guts.

Im about ready now. Ive got all the bits, and I think I know which way im going with the engine. Looking forward to cracking in and seeing what caused the compression loss. When I know, I will of course let you all know, so you dont make the same mistakes I made. I had a chat with Kev from scoobyclinic yesterday up at scooby shootout about thier sc billet turbos and Im looking forward to it all.
Cheers for asking Mark, see you and all the others again soon..

Hammer, they were testing a SC50 there when I visited Kev, it sounded like a jet engine. Which one are you going to go for?

Will do H. Think this has cost me enough so I'll just do some things inside the car, which is a lot cheaper and just as fun.

Im running twin scroll and I will be going on the advise given to me by Kev at the clinic and David at API, as to which will be the most suitable for me. They work on these engines all day long and know them inside out, where as I know absolutely nothing about them. Im after as much "road usable" torque (with the odd track day here and there) as possible.

It was mate, and it seems like it was ages ago. I stopped using the car after that weekend. There is nothing worse than having your car off the road, just sitting there getting dirty. Driving it would of only made things worse internally so I had no choice.
I was sitting in the pub down the town in Leamington on the sunday meet a few weeks back, watching you lot rumble past. It wont be too long before I can get on the back of the "convoy". I like the sound of the drive up north in Feb, so maybe I will meet you all again at that one.

Just reading Total Impreza (sept-oct issue) and there's a guy called Nathan with a P plate 2.0 scoob on page 80-87, whos in WMI. There's also a mention of WMI on there, with the web address and he's got the stickies on the back windows. Nice One. Has Nathan been to the last couple of meets as I dont recall seeing him?

I did scooby shootout last weekend and Timeattack this weekend. Think a day at the raceway would be nice but Im supposed to be saving for a simtek or syvecs. If I feel the urge though, I will get in touch. Its a very kind offer Mark, thanks
