Just my opinion, but I prefer all the talk about an event, to be in the event's thread. Especially if I wasn't there, means I don't have to trawl through loads of irrelevant posts in the general thread. Also helps when wanting to look at pics from the event later, you know where they are. Just saying...

 

Appreciatte what you are saying mate, problem is by staying on the meet thread it keeps it at the top, which will confuse people as to which meet is current and which is old. Once a meet has passed a new one takes it place. The reason for using general chat is so that it can be looked back at in years to come. Once a meet dissapears onto say page 9 etc its gone for ever. Hope that makes sense as its easier to speak it rather than type lol
