Looking forward to driving her once again after so long and and with the power hike.

I also wanted to replace my prodrive springs with coilovers but cant do this until december as thats when i will be returning off my holiday. Will also then be buying the wheels i want to replace the temporary inovites.

While im posting i just wanted to know if i would be ok driving roughly 20 miles off boost before i have it mapped?

Newage STi's are a lot more responsive with big turbo than old classics due to the AVCS.

Also, the 20G turbo doesn't suffer from compressor surge like the standard vf35 and so comes on boost harder once it spools.

Lots more to say on the subject.. but honestly.. I'm on my phone and can't be bothered lol
This is the graph the previous owner had running my turbo but with gt spec headers, cold air intake and front mount so im hoping with ported headers, 2.5" system and standard air box I will spool a little sooner because of the extra low down torque or is my thinking all wrong

You will spool sooner with the ported headers for sure. But the GT spec headers with flow more top end and will make slightly more power. If you're sticking with the TMIC you will make less power too, but should have better response.

Was that WR1 running it on straight V-Power? Good result if it was!

Muttly turbo I kno a place in Wolverhampton. Go to A and A MOT garage by Timmins waste (just off the Penn road) and ask them to sort it out for you because they know the chap and he does it cheaper for them.

I did and my car was fine I just didn't go above 2k revs but I got JGM to come to my house and map it so I didn't have to drive it again.

Funny enough thats what i said to her, didnt go down to well, as you would expect from a 16yr old, leaving at 7 to get there for 9 with a bit of luck
