Thinking of selling the scoob, anyone got any ideas of price considering it aint the best of lookers and has a tendency to leak water ocasionally its really annoying me now as i cant find the problem or afford to send it anywhere at the moment

sorry to hear that bud, you havnt had much luck of late
is it worth parking it up until you can afford to have it looked at? or maybe even breaking it and getting another........

WATER LEAK,check header tank cap,plastic expansion tank overflow,radiator and hoses,engine block..how much coolant does it use,any white smoke,any overheating issues(radiator failures are quite common on the classics),it happened to me....GOOD LUCK...

Looking for one of these, i've owned three through the years (middle and Right at the same time), all before scoobynet was started, wish i'd kept one of them, very rare.

its a Subaru XT coupe.

No i aint had much luck and being my first scoob ive been put off them now, as for parking it up and leaving it i couldnt knowing its there id have to go driving and i wouldnt want to break it the shell is good no rust anywhere just needs some tlc the problem is the engine

checked everything mate had new samco water hose kit and new radiator, cleaned the whole system out and re-filled it, there is no smoke no mixing of oil and water and no overheating unless ive lost coolant then it overheats due to no water in the rad got a blitz radiator cap with the higher pressure too, its really put me off scoobys being my first aswell the water system is so complicated for what it is really its sent me

bit of a crowd puller, air suspension, bit wooly on the corners and only a 1.8cc engine all be it turbo charged, im going to see if i can get one and STi it, cant believe the black one i actually put it in a crusher because i had no where to store it what a complete $%^& .
