I know what you are saying bud but you have a nice example there. Keep at it, cars like yours will go up in value imho (genuine sonic blue uk saloon classic)

Have you thought about an newage sti brake\caliper upgrade? I know its a quick (cheating) fix to your problem but you will be upgrading rather than fixing.........

Just a thought.....

To be honest i haven't considered a newage upgrade seems like a good idea for the future.
Even though the classic gets on my nerves sometimes i dont think i could part with it.
I will cross my fingers and see what happens next........

Good point! Probably get a set of brembos for about £500ish dependent on condition of discs pads, also you will need either newage 17" sti wheels or a set of 18" to clear them though.

Cheers guys get this a friend on face book had there house burgled by gypo's for tat last week i sent a meassage saying would you like me to come and install you an alarm system sent my number had no reply went to there business to talk to them , and found out the norm her husband couldn't wait a day a brought a cheap system from an electrical wholesalers and her husband fitted it ..

then had a phone call yesterday saying can i please come round today as he cannot get it working ;/ now it will cost them more for me to fit it properly than it would to have one of my systems that is garanteed for 2yrs!!! lol

many people i have met over the years say either,,,

I don't need one we never get burgled round here

I Have a dog!

I don't have anything worth steeling

ive already got one (that hasn't been serviced in ten years) Does it even work?

i'm in the house most of the time

all of the above i have fond over the years have been targets of crime

Scum bangs will break in take anythin that they can car boot, sell down the pub , or on ebay,

nb. the garage assured me they are back in correctly.

Cheers all

Looks like an anti-rattle clip they can loose there tension over time.
Try Godspeed brakes on SN or type in godspeed brakes.co.uk...

that plate is to hold the pads in as the pins .the pads should never get loose unless there may be problem with the brake pistons returning back to far get them check out
