if it was up to me i would of took it there but i werent paying the dealer i brought the car off was and tbh its down to the garage who done the work as when the car went in it was running fine apart from an oil leak but its came out running horrible and no where near as quick as it was i took the car back to them this morning im picking it up later if its still runing rough i will be naming and shaming them on here
If we were all to "name and shame" garages where we have been unhappy at the quality of work carried out on our car, we would open a right can of worms. Its just down to you as the owner to never take it there again..

im hoping they havnt done any damage mate tbh i cant see what they could have done as its not smoking or anythin like that it just seems to be holding back if that makes sense and when you first pull of it really struggles ive got a suspicion there is a boost leak some where like they havnt tightend something up properly but like i said i will see what happens first but i refuse to believe jet washing the engine would cause all this it would of dried by now easily

Where was the oil leak maybe it was the turbo or could they have taken the intercooler out for better access and not refitted correctly. If I were you next time it comes out I would run it over to someone like thwaites just to cast an expert eye over the work they have done

right picked the car up still juddery he reckons he cleaned out the inlet (sprayed a bit of cleaner in there) and then on the way home the car wouldnt boost any higher than 0.5 where as it usually boosts at 1.3 i turned it off and on again and the boost came back just real juddery still so avoid FORESTERS SUBARU BILSTON like the plague they have ruined my car
it was mainly leaking from the rear main oil seal they removed the entire engine to work on it apparantly

time to get a second opinion and put a letter to the foresters garage stating the full problem with the car and that they have 14 days to put the car right, otherwise you will be taking it to an independant garage of your chosing to get the car fixed and give them the repair bill, but to do that it will have to go through a small claims court to recover your costs. i hope u get it sorted.

dont let this experience make u regret buying the car.you have experienced how good the car is/can be, you have just had a real crappy experience of a poor garage. there are plenty of garages that u can trust that are local to u that once this is sorted, you can use there services. msv ( i live in brum but will be traveling to msv to have my car serviced in wolverhampton)- thwaites developments.
there is a local one in redditch that is fitting my H brace for me on tuesday that is specifically subaru that opened 6 months ago that i didnt even know was there.

its off the a435 heading towards m42 motorway. its the turning for ullenhall heading out of redditch. it use to be martin motors.
spoke to a chap called paul, had a good chat today and he gave me a couple of cards. i asked about servicing and how much a cam belt change would be ( hence me knowing the price of a genuine cam belt ) seemed a nice bloke and a very clean setup but abit over-priced compaired to other available sources

I had a very similar problem with my car It drove me mad for weeks, tried MAF switch at Scoobie world still not fixed, eventualy found a poor connection in the loom of the MAF connector. On my car it was the wire with what I can only describe as a co axial type wire it is only thin but has a sheath arround it, this was broken made new joint an bingo. Took some finding tho'

Just got back from the Race Retro show, awesome day, amazing cars!
Spotted a couple of Scoobs on the M6 at J6 on the way back, silver Bug with VERY dark tints joined right next to me and there was a WR blue Blob going south on the other side.
