Hilla, im looking into doing the Nur middle of next year so will pass this year (little one here)
re shocks, whats your budget?
Probably looking at £1k, but want quality kit so could go a bit more if pushed. I've heard mixed reviews on the BCs to be honest, but the price is good! Can you recommend any H?
Don't blame you (re the 'Ring), family first! Your more than welcome to come with us next year though mate?
I would definitely say ASTs, there are the only coilover I've never heard anything bad about. Lots of support from the guys who fit them too! If I had the money for coilovers, that is exactly where my money would go!

BCs had an issue with rear knocking but it has been rectified now and the support is top notch for them. if you can afford ASTs go for them if not BCs are the way forward
Got BCs too, no complaints so far (bar them not going low enough at the front) and I run them on the hardest setting, have done for months.
Not low enough half way is way too low for me!
Hilla if your after a practical fast road car they have plenty of adjustment, more than enough if you ask me. Coilovers are overkill unless you do alot of track days or you want to drive with your **** kissing the floor like pyro the main reason I went for them was to cure the rear strut problem.

What is the body roll like guys? Is it reduced? I'm after a flatter-handling car - do they reduce it or not make much difference?
I will be doing quite a few track days, and have 3 'Ring trips planned lol. Not planning on going too low, just would like it a bit lower, to suit the Rota Grid Drifts I'm planning on getting.
Brierley Hill. My mate simon lives in kiddy so I'm up that way now and then as well or you can just drop in on a weekend as I'm normally at home being driven to DIY by the missus
Haha! Nice one, I'm up Brierley Hill way often at the weekends, I'll drop you a pm when I'm next up that way and come say hi. Think I'm gonna go for the BCs, for the money they seem to give cracking performance.
good thanks Hilla. not seen you since Tunnel run. Though we had upset you ! pmsl
No mate, been stacked out at work so weekends fly by! Settling down now so I'll be showing my face at meets etc. Looking forward to the Spring and the better weather! Plus the approaching trip to the 'Ring helps lol
