Am thinking of decatting my exhaust system as part of a future remap. Just wanna know if the noise is liveable after all the silencers are removed? I do the odd motorway trip to as part of work.

de-catted mine + sports cat with a tsl back box and it gets drowned out to the point where I cant hear it anymore at the WMI meets. often leave the house at 3:30 - 5:00 in the morning and havent woke anyone up yet.

On another note, is anyone handy with the spanners to the point of fitting new lowering springs? I'm not the best but would like to keep the cost down for fitting.

Fitted coilovers with help but i believe you need to compress the springs to get them on the struts??? best bet is to take them to the likes of thwaites or pole position but you will need to get geo done afterwards

 

or MVS (dont want to upset anyone )

 

MVS charge about £80 ish, then the geo on top, give Jon a ring, numbers on traders thread.

While your at it get an oil service, there super cheap.
