Looking at those pics in the link above its clear both JDM and Euro taper at the downpipe joint and still use the firering gasket.

The reason they have differenciated between Euro/JDM on the newage is because the Cat on JDM newage is the same length as a classic.

JDM bug has a 3 part system, Cat/centre/backbox

Uk Bug has Cat/2nd Cat/Centre/backbox

Not convinced they do a true 3in centre for any model as they are all designed to fit the OE cat whatever the model so it will have to taper down.

The Nur Spec R for the subaru application does indeed narrow down to 2.6".

This is designed to be an oem replacement.

We can supply true 3" exhaust systems if needed.
