Hi Mags,

What Rota 17 or 18's in a 7.5 width clear Brembo's without spacers.
After something for my classic but want to drop of 8" ET51 to 7.5" ET4x due to clearance issues (I don't want arches rolled or liners removed).

Cheers......

Yo. I'm a subie noob, recently bought a Hawkeye WRX wagon. Have been searching countless threads of here and nasioc trying to find out and figure out which wheels to go for. Had initially decided on xxr 527s et35 8.75x18, but have been coveting the Grids recently, even if they're way more expensive.

Was hoping, Mags, you'd be able to clear a few things up for me.

1. What's the lowest offset that won't require arch work on a lowered wagon? I'm gonna get a set of tein springs and whiteline camber bolts for f&r to lose the jacked up standard look. I've got 225/40/18 tyres to go with whatever rims.

2. What's the widest recommended wheel? I presume the 9.5 Grids would be way too wide without major messing about with bodywork and alignment? I only ask as the concave Grids (et38) look way better than the flatter faced et44/8.5s.

3. Bronze or Gunmetal? I can't make my mind up. The wagon is in typical subi blue.

Cheers.

Hi Mags

If I had a set of Rota Grid Drift 18 x 9.5 ET38 alloys on a Hawkeye Impreza STI with stretched 18 x 40 x 225 Falken 452 or 453 tyres, BC coilovers, & the arches rolled, would I need a 5mm spacer on the front to clear the Brembo's, & would I need camber bolts for both the front & the rear of the car?
