I liked him, he had a pleasant sense of humor on TV. I am sure this thread will lean itself towards the "I hate gays" SN Contingent who will use the death of a completely un offensive man to prove how hetro they are, but that aside its always a pity when someone who seems nice dies young.

the male of the species has one main role in life, to pass on his genetic code. Gays can't do this as no matter how much genetic code they bust up their partners **** it just isn't gonna do much.

If gayness is genetic, then with removing all (all right, some) of society's prejudice against it, they'll bugger themselves extinct as they're not 'compelled' to settle down and have kids, burying their sexuality.
My thought for the day.
And men can still pass on their genetic code should they wish to through sperm donation, or if they want a family of their own they can find a surrogate. Fulfilling their 'role in life'.
Why hasn't natural selection put a stop to gayness ... they do seem to be "fighters" genetically!

Er, cos of the point what it was I was actually making? That in past times while they may have been as bent as a nine bob note, society's mores enforced a wife and two kids on them, regardless of their proclivities or what they got up to at other times.
Whereas now they are pretty free to live with their partner and are presumably less likely to marry and have kids. So now, natural selection will kick in.
For clarification, I have a strong feeling that what I'm arguing is wrong on several levels but hey ho!

The sexuality sex games thing came up straight up when Gateley died - it sells papers and is an easy assumption to get away with by the gutter press.
