F6 Squared ProDrive Subie.
Love the look although I would also be tempted to say it's a bit too low!
It's also screaming out for a headlight de-tango!!!!
What's the deal with the rear lights? Are they painted or is it a cover?

Bio did you really put 19" wheels on a subaru or was that a typo on your garage?
i personally would take the sti stickers off the fog covers will, nothing worse than pretending your cars something its not the fact its a wrx and looks as good as it does is enough - you're pic is amazing tho what camera/lense are you using? i cant believe you still put up with it being this low im considering raising her up as i have weave links on my exhaust and they're frayed to ****.
There's no C in subaru? i think the scooby doo reference is the most ched thing going tbh..
Good to see you back on the forum Will i still need to see this in the flesh keep us updated it keeps me inspired

19's really. Purists don't normally go above 17" something to do with affecting the handling
I agree with the Scooby Doo reference. WTF does a Dog have in common with a Subaru.
I recall my partners boss referring to the car as a "Subie" he obviously didn't know about the American reference. Does that make him a yank wannabe?

haha no I didn't previous owner did, not bothered changing them yet. As for handling BTCC touring cars run on 19s
Your partners boss obviously heard it from someone else with no clue then

I never thought of it that way he must have heard it from one of his shooting buddies or someone at the golf club over afternoon tea.
It's obvious your not a fan of this movement by why hate on every post?

Everyone has a different taste, if we all had the same looking 'subie' (lol) then this place would be boring as ****!!!
I like the look, always wanted wider wheels on the 'subie' but never done it, had the 19s, hated paying for a new tyre every month, so next move is a set of wide alloys and stretched tyres!!!
Ricey

For those doing it the handling side of things isn't priority. Not ever Impreza owner wants to have impeccable handling. So it seems
A few cars on the Grid setup are running decent power above 300 Bhp so they seem happy enough to run that power on this setup

Not wishing to add fuel to the fire but......
Have you seen how LOW touring cars are too? Doesn't seem to affect the handling!

Haha, i like where this thread is going.
Having it as low as i run it does effect the handling a fair bit, not to mention the extra stress through the cv joints etc, which actually creates juddering with hard corning (something you try and get used too) Its running near on 300bhp with the extra bits I'm running and the Pro Drive Pack, so it keeps up with STI's plenty easy. Reckon i will take the stickers off the blanks though.
Its all fair and well, saying that BTCC cars run super low, but they are on a completely different set up, not even the same chassis, so cant even be compared to a road going car.
I quite enjoy the challenge of driving such a low car, and you get used to having to dodge certain cats eyes, and repairing things after you hit a pot hole you didn't see. Plus theres the art of getting the wheels MM perfect in the arch. Its just that sort of thing that appeals to the like of myself. Like many say, its more of a lifestyle, **** like this, however corny it sounds, you really do live it ever mile you drive.
As for de-tangoing the headlights, i didnt, but i did do this..

Oh and got a new head unit

Oh and also, i swear someone asked about the camera im using? But i cant find the post.
Its just a old Lumix, but with HEAVY editing. Just got a Nikon D40 on the cheap though with a 18-50mm Lens, which the face on shot with the yellow tints was taken with, still learning my way around a 'real' camera though!
OH And, my rear lights are just done with red tinting spray, and then laquerd and waxed to keep the shine.

Nice touch with the headlamps will as usual nice to be different
Those lumix do take nice pics for a point and shoot must admit, no doubt you'll be turning out some sharp pic's with the nikon when you get used to it, they are a different league
i spent last months "car budget" on my camera setup lol, i need to get a nice spy at the inside of your arches i don't really want to go any lower for now at least until i get my exhaust straight piped but ideally i want bigger spacers to get it super flush and its bound to rub..
I knew you'd like people getting irate about the stance lol always makes me chuckle some people will just never understand..

Rubbing just something you have to deal with, but some clever rolling on the arch, and a bit of camber, helps out loads. My rims actually catch the arch though on a hard bump. Took as much weight out the back to try and stop this from happening, but happens from time to time.
Some Nikon pics of my antic from today
