Thats becuase men and women have a completely different attitude to sex. A twelve year old girl would be traumatised for life but a twelve year old boy will become his classmates hero. While twelve is young enough for the crime to warrant a custodial sentence if the boy was 15 I personally do not see the issue with hetero sexual sex with a 36 year old.
As far as I see it, a 12 year
old is a child no matter what gender they are. Who knows what she said might happen if he didn't do as he was told.
