The nitrided x drilled crank provides better oil feed to the main bearings, yes they are good but as said, only on the 2ltr JDM twin scroll cars, the USDM STI engine is identical to that of the eu/uk 2.5ltr STI engine and they dont have said crank

Just one other thing....
I pulled this from a link about the car when it was dyno'd by the previous owner
The clutch is rated to about 340ft/lb
The gearbox is good for about 350ft/lb
There was no det at anytime until he advanced the ignition a silly amount to make sure his machines were working
The best bit apart from 300ft/lb from 2900rpm is the fact that I had half a tank of 97ron in the car and planned to fill up on optimax before the session. It wasn't until I put the pump back that I realised it was 95ron
So that was based on 96ron fuel. Not too shabby

how do Impreza owners raise their power to the 500-600 mark? Do they keep the torque where it is? or is there an upgrade i should be saving for?
