Have we gathered yet that it is not scooby555, its scoobby555!?

They'll be ok, their Itrader score will be clean and (I've not looked) but I'm guessing that they're an established and respected member.

If there is any confusion, just RTM it and we'll put the official word in!

Paypal and ebay state very clearly that if you pay outside the system then you have no cover.

You directly ignored this advice and are now suffering the consequences - you have no comeback on them at all. They make this clear at the time of transaction.

If someone asks to get paid outside the system then this alone should raise an alarm bell with you.

Sorry you got ripped off - but you did play your part.

Most of us know the situation the moderators are in, i'm sure people are aware that as much is done as possible by them. I can only echo your opinion with regards to letting scoobynet know what's going on. Nothing can be done if they don't know about it.

whilst i agree there was a delay in sending out the bumper i am dissapointed by these comments,

firstly can i point out
1) deal was done on 3rd of Feb

2) i was told a paypal payment would be made or cheque would be sent, to be recieved by the 5th or 6th of feb of which i didnt recieve

3) by the time i got the money (cash) sent by a rcorded delivery
which i got on the 15th of february i then deposited into my account, i then organised a courier of which on the 2 occasions they tried to collect my misses was out because it was half term, which yes was my fault. however i have had to wait to repay for the courier to collect, until payday.

if i had of recieved the money by the 5th which was way b4 half term then it would of been sent.

every1 is quick enough to jump on the band wagon and tarnish me with the same brush scoobby555

i hope this explains my point across

and i very sorry for any bad feelin, and would not accept money by deception as this fraud

its just a shame no 1 likes to hear any other persons comments when they are about to be shot.

I think ricey was getting stressed with the lack of comminication, one mans floor is another mans ceiling, his idea of good communication could be very different than yours, hence misunderstandings can happen.
As long as it's sorted i don't see that anyone will tarnish you with the same brush as scoobby555

the week that he is on about, i was away in scotland working with no internet access. but i kept him informed as much as possible, with his response as bein pissed off, i could say the same for not recieving the money for nearly two weeks as pormised but did i jump the gun 'no' i kept my cool turned down other offers on the bumper cos i had an aggreement with him.

now its goin out tomorrow, what he seems to forget is, if i had recieved the funds as promised by the 5th or 6th, he would of recieved the bumper by the 10th, my misses wouldnt stay in cos of half term, instead of payin £30 for courier its cost me £60, am i complaining.

maybe i should just stick to selling the items on ebay, on ebay i only accept paypal, but because he was tryin to hide it from his misses, i accepted cash, and had to wait for it, nearly a whole 2 weeks.

if i am paid by paypal, then both parties are covered, but he seemed a nice enough guy, i let it go, i certainly wont next time.

rant over,
